Parkview has two academic teams. Students participate in Spell Bowl and Math Bowl during the school year. The Spell Bowl Team practices and competes during the first semester. The Math Bowl Team practices and competes during the second semester. Teams practice during the school day to ensure all team members have an opportunity to participate.
