We are excited to welcome you back to BNL! It is with great anticipation that we begin this school year. As we continue to navigate the re-opening of NLCS, we will be sharing updates as they come available. We want to invite you to your orientation day during BNL Welcome Week, Monday August 3rd through August 7th. NLCS' First Student Day for the 2020-21 School Year is Thursday August 13th!
Important Info for Welcome Week
➖Orientation will be for student and ONE parent
➖Limited Capacity for Social Distancing
➖All ENTRY will be through PAC Doors-Entry #35
➖Everyone entering facilities will be required to wear a mask at all times. Masks will be provided if needed.

➡️BNL Hallways will be ONE WAY DIRECTION: students will travel counter-clockwise
⬇️Stairways 1 & 3 will be DOWN ONLY
⬆️Stairways 2 & 4 will be UP ONLY
➡️Cafeteria ENTRANCE will be by Stairway 3 ONLY
⬅️Cafeteria EXIT will be by Stairwell 2 ONLY

Students kept Chromebooks over the summer. We will complete incoming freshman Chromebook exchange after the school year begins.
NEW to NLCS Students will need to contact the BNL Office to schedule a registration appointment. We will plan for new student appointments from 8am till 9am on Tuesday through Thursday, with possible late afternoon sessions for each.
Back to School ONLINE Registration is now OPEN! You can access the registration portal via www.nlcs.k12.in.us and clicking on the STUDENT REGISTRATION button. Please complete the required registration for returning NLCS students anytime from home or computer access will be available at BNL during Welcome Week.
Lunch Applications can be submitted at www.lunchapp.com - District is North Lawrence Community Schools. Computer access will be available at BNL during Welcome Week.
BNL Trimester Update: BNL will be operating under a Trimester school schedule. Trimesters means the school year will be divided into three terms, 60 days per term. Trimesters will aid us in achieving three goals: Increase student learning opportunities, Increase instructional time, and Offer a Daily Flex time to explore career explorations, build community and relationships, social and emotional learning, and offer extra curricular activities/clubs during the school day.

>Car Riders will enter through Gate 3, and drop students off at Entry 16, exiting through Gate 4 by the baseball field.
>Student Drivers/Riders will enter through Entry 6 and 7 by the Cafeteria.

Bedford North Lawrence High School is located just to the east of the town of Bedford, Indiana, in Lawrence County. The school opened in January of 1975 as the result of the consolidation of seven schools. The high school has an enrollment of approximately 1600 students in grades nine through twelve. The school is part of the North Lawrence Community School Corporation, which serves approximately 5,000 students from the portion of the county north of White River. Bedford itself has slightly over 14,000 residents and Lawrence County has a population of over 43,000 individuals. Lawrence County is located in south-central Indiana, about 70 miles south of Indianapolis at the crossroads of S.R. 37 and U.S. 50.

BNL Parking! Student Parking applications will be available for purchase during BNL Welcome Week! And in keeping with tradition, Paint your Space! BNL Student Parking passes are $25, and student will need to know their license plate number, and have proof of insurance. You can print your PARKING APPLICATION FORM and view our guidelins for PAINT YOUR SPACE below.
