We are excited to welcome you back to BNL! It is with great anticipation that we begin this school year. As we continue to navigate the re-opening of NLCS, we will be sharing updates as they come available.
Our first student school day will be Thursday August 13th. Students will report to their Period 1 class. If you were unable to pick up your schedule during welcome week, you can find your Period 1 class information on Powerschool. We will have schedules ready for all students Period 1 Thursday. Period 1 will begin at 8.10am. Students will be able to enter the hallways at 7.50am.
BNL Trimester: BNL will be operating under a Trimester school schedule. Trimesters means the school year will be divided into three terms, 60 days per term. Trimesters will aid us in achieving three goals: Increase student learning opportunities, Increase instructional time, and Offer a Daily Flex time to explore career explorations, build community and relationships, social and emotional learning, and offer extra curricular activities/clubs during the school day.

Period 2: 9.17am - 10.19am
Homeroom Advisory: 10.24am - 10.54am
Period 3: 10.59am - 12.39pm

Period 4: 12.44pm - 1.47pm
Period 5: 1.52pm - 2.55pm

>Car Riders will enter through Gate 3, and drop students off at Entry 16, exiting through Gate 4 by the baseball field.
>Student Drivers/Riders will enter through Entry 6 and 7 by the Cafeteria.
>Bus Riders will enter through Entry 5.

Bedford North Lawrence High School is located just to the east of the town of Bedford, Indiana, in Lawrence County. The school opened in January of 1975 as the result of the consolidation of seven schools. The high school has an enrollment of approximately 1600 students in grades nine through twelve. The school is part of the North Lawrence Community School Corporation, which serves approximately 5,000 students from the portion of the county north of White River. Bedford itself has slightly over 14,000 residents and Lawrence County has a population of over 43,000 individuals. Lawrence County is located in south-central Indiana, about 70 miles south of Indianapolis at the crossroads of S.R. 37 and U.S. 50.

BNL Parking! Student Parking applications will be available for purchase during BNL Welcome Week! And in keeping with tradition, Paint your Space! BNL Student Parking passes are $25, and student will need to know their license plate number, and have proof of insurance.
