Where did you go to college? I attended Ball State University.

Why did you choose educationI love watching new skills and ideas click for students, and doing what I can to help them feel safe and supported at school!

Tell us about your family. My husband, Mr. Kelley, is a 1st grade teacher in Seymour. We have two dogs, Teddy and Sophie. I love being at Shawswick because I went to school through NLCS, K-12!

What do you like to do outside of teaching? Outside of work, I like to walk my dogs and be outdoors, spend time with friends and family, paint, listen to music, and watch movies (especially Disney, or anything with Audrey Hepburn or Tom Hanks!).

What is your favorite thing about being a Farmer? My favorite part about being a Farmer is not only working with out amazing Farmer Families, but also that I have lots of family members throughout several generations that have been Shawswick Farmers, too!

Fun Fact: I was a Dollens Bearcat as an elementary student, where my music teacher was Mrs. Muncy! When I began working at Lincoln (before joining the Farmer family this year), I was very excited because Mrs. Muncy was there, too! I loved hearing the life skill songs that we sang in her class, bringing back lots of good memories!
