BNL Trimester: BNL will be operating under a Trimester school schedule. Trimesters means the school year will be divided into three terms, 60 days per term. Trimesters will aid us in achieving three goals: Increase student learning opportunities, Increase instructional time, and Offer a Daily Flex time to explore career explorations, build community and relationships, social and emotional learning, and offer extra curricular activities/clubs during the school day.

BNL Drop Off / Pick Up
>Car Riders will enter through Gate 3, and drop students off at Entry 16, exiting through Gate 4 by the baseball field.
>Student Drivers/Riders will enter through Entry 6 and 7 by the Cafeteria.
>Bus Riders will enter through Entry 5.

Bedford North Lawrence High School is located just to the east of the town of Bedford, Indiana, in Lawrence County. The school opened in January of 1975 as the result of the consolidation of seven schools. The high school has an enrollment of approximately 1600 students in grades nine through twelve. The school is part of the North Lawrence Community School Corporation, which serves approximately 5,000 students from the portion of the county north of White River. Bedford itself has slightly over 14,000 residents and Lawrence County has a population of over 43,000 individuals. Lawrence County is located in south-central Indiana, about 70 miles south of Indianapolis at the crossroads of S.R. 37 and U.S. 50.
Bedford North Lawrence High School is the Home of the STARS. Our vision for BNL students is that each will continuously excel in a global society by being:

PSAT TESTING INFORMATIONThe PSAT will be administered at BNL on Thursday, October 29th.Sophomores are required to test.Juniors who are interested in this FREE SAT practice should sign up on the google form that is located in your 2022 Google Classroom. Juniors who want to try to qualify for the National Merit awards should also sign up. In addition, any junior who is interested in dual credit and has not already qualified with PSAT scores can test to try and raise their scores to possibly be exempt from other types of testing. You must be signed up by September 11th.Freshmen can also take the PSAT. Freshmen must pay $17 to be able to take the test. If you are a freshman who is interested in practicing for the PSAT/NMSQT, please submit your payment by check made to BNL or exact change of $17 by September 11th as your registration. Your payment can be made at the BNL Counseling Office.

BNL Parking! Student Parking applications will be available for purchase during BNL Welcome Week! And in keeping with tradition, Paint your Space! BNL Student Parking passes are $25, and student will need to know their license plate number, and have proof of insurance.
