Meet Oreo and Friend, our Stalker courtyard pets. Oreo, a Netherland Dwarf rabbit, is one of the most popular breeds of pet rabbits. He is white with black spots. We got a new rabbit in the courtyard recently. He is the gray rabbit. Students will name him soon. We enjoy taking care of the rabbits. We help by feeding them. Many classrooms enjoy a courtyard view, so the rabbits are watched daily by many children.

Every species of domestic rabbit is a descendent of a wild rabbit species. Most domestic rabbits are raised for meat, laboratory research, pets, show animals, or for their soft fur. The average rabbit lives to be about 10 years old. We hope to enjoy our friends for many years to come!
