FIRST GRADE CLASS

Dear Parents,

I want to welcome you and your child to the new school year. I am looking forward to working with you and having a wonderful year.

Mrs. Chambers is our Title I aide. We are doing Saxon Math and Phonics. Every morning we write in our journals and then share our writing with the class. We are learning how to write poetry. We are writing a lot of neat books and poems.

It is very important for parents to be involved in their child's education. The skills that are taught in school need to be reinforced and extended at home during the school year. Thanks for all your help.
