Mission
     The Mission of the personnel, parents and community is to provide nurturing and safe environment where every individual is encouraged to continuously develop their intellectual, social and vocational potential.
 

                                   Vision
         Shawswick Elementary school will be a school where all students will learn at appropriate levels.  Students will learn best in a totally child centered environment that encourages a safe, structured atmosphere.  All students will experience success, respect, feel safe and have positive self-esteem.  Teachers and administrators will be empowered to make decisions about student progress with regards to retention and advancement.  Instruction will be developmentally appropriate and smaller class size is essential to obtaining optimum performance.
