This program is designed for students pursuing a career where they will work with babies, toddlers, or preschoolers. Early Childhood Education is a two year program with 6 credits earned each year. Students will learn how to apply principles and skills best suited for the young child. Students are also involved in our FCCLA chapter. Apprenticeships are available for qualified students desiring more education after high school. Prerequisites for the apprenticeship program are at least one semester of high school child development. Suggested prerequisites are Interpersonal Relations and Nutrition & Food Preparation.
