OLJMG Joint ServicesNLCS, working with Joint Services, endeavors to provide the Least Restrictive Environment for special needs students. To this end, a continuum of programs and services is available and is implemented according to the Individual Education Plan (IEP) which is developed by the case conference committee. Early intervention is available for eligible preschool children.
The Orange-Lawrence-Jackson-Martin-Greene Joint Services' educational philosophy states that all children, regardless of abilities or limitations, have the right to an appropriate education. Exceptional children are children who because of certain differences, need special interpretations, specialized services and programs, or supplementary assistance in order to attain skills which will aid them in attaining their potential.
