NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
May 7-11 is Teacher Appreciation Week. This would be a great time to let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate him/her.
FIELD DAY
On May 25 students in grades 1-5 will participate in field day here at Heltonville School. Parent volunteers are needed.
Due to insurance reasons we are not allowed to have pre-school age kids attend this event.
ORIENTATION
Grade 5 students will be visiting Shawswick Middle School this month. Parents will be notified when we get a date. A corporation bus will transport the students to Shawswick and back.
PTO Meeting, Monday, May 14th @ 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Election of Officers.
ALUMNI BANQUET: SATURDAY, MAY 26th.
TRANSFER
REQUESTSTransfer request for the 2012-2013 school year should be picked up, completed, and returned to our office prior to May 15th. Request must be filled out and approved EVERY YEAR for students who do not live in our school attendance area. Forms are available in the school office. Please remember that request may not be approved until the beginning of the school year depending upon enrollment figures
The PTO officers would like to thank teachers, staff and parents for all of their work and support this year.
MEAL MAGIC
Students who have money (credit) in their Meal Magic accounts will be carried over to the next school year. Parents may continue to deposit money into the student’s over the summer, so that they may start the new school with credit in their Meal Magic accounts.
Food Service
Reminder: All meal charges must be paid in full before the end of this school year. If not paid, they will roll-over to next school year and amounts will continue to be owed.
Once again this summer, beginning June 4 through August 3, free meals will be offered to all children ages 18 and younger at Bedford Middle School cafeteria. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:30 and lunch from 11:30-1:00. Adults may eat breakfast for $2.00 and lunch for $3.00. This is dine-in only.
Beginning July 1, Applications for Free or Reduced Price Meals and Textbook Assistance may be filled out on-line at
www.lunchapp.com. To be eligible for next school year, applications cannot be filled out before July 1.ACCELERATED READER INFORMATION
If you would like to access to your child’s Accelerated Reader progress/ testing scores you may log in at the address below. Your child should know his/her user name and password. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Bartlett at 834-6632.
