 ACR’S (Annual Case Reviews):

            T,W,Th, and F (a.m.) – October 2,3,4, & 5 (a.m.) An all important time for parents, teachers, nurses, specialists (speech & PT/OT therapists) and Jt. Services case conference coordinators to meet and review each child’s progress on targeted learning skills on last years IEP (individual education plan).  And, together determine new challenges for each child’s specific needs for this schoolyear.  You’ve confirmed your scheduled time, so see you then.

 

 STUDENT ½ DAYS:

            Tuesday, October 16, and Wednesday, October 17, students attend mornings only.  NO LUNCHES SERVED and dismissal is by 11:00 a.m.

 

 OPEN HOUSE:

            Tuesday, October 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Refreshments throughout the day. Please come visit our classrooms and see why we all love our jobs and the  special kids at Englewood.

 

FALL BREAK:

            Fall Break ~ NO SCHOOL

                        Thursday & Friday October 18 & 19

 

HALLOWEEN PARTY:

            Wednesday, October 31, 12:30-1:30 come join the spooks and frightening activities with students and staff.  Snacks and treats will be served.  Students and staff may wear costumes.

 THANK YOU!!!:

            -Englewood PTO for providing cotton candy, machine sno cone supplies for

            circus day.

            -Barrett Rent-All for donating cups for sno cones.

            -Mr. Shawn Cummings for his great visual presentation of Bedford and

            Southern Indiana Railroads.

            -DUNN Ambulance personnel, Englewood fire station, and Joe Fender with

            police car for their time sharing their jobs and equipment.

 

CLASSIC CLOWN:

            On September 5, our dear Daren Swango entertained everyone with a fantastic clown routine.  The building shook with laughter while he performed a “mime” clown in full costume.  His performance was unforgettable and we will definitely be calling for an encore!
