     Englewood School is part of the North Lawrence School Corporation. Englewood is one of the few public schools in Indiana devoted solely to the needs of the severely/ mentally impaired and multiple disabilities. Students range from 5-18 years old. Englewood School is fully wheelchair accessible, with 3 classrooms and a multi-purpose room in which the students have access to appropriate adaptive equipment. Our students interact with other students from elementary, junior high and senior high schools within the North Lawrence School Corporation as part of the NLCS inclusion policy. Englewood Mission Statement: We believe all children can achieve. The mission of Englewood school is for all students, families, care-givers and school personnel to collectively help severely/mentally disabled students to be independent. In providing a functional curriculum, it enables students to participate in life as fully and independently as possible, within the realm of their capabilities.
