The following gives a bit of insight into the ideology, demographics, and location of Bedford North Lawrence High School. Mission
Statement:
It is our mission as a purposeful learning
community that each student reaches his or her full potential.
Demographics:
Bedford North Lawrence High School
is located just to the east of the town of Bedford, Indiana, in
Lawrence County. The school opened in January of 1975 as the result
of the consolidation of seven schools. The high school has an
enrollment of approximately 1650 students in grades nine through
twelve. The school is part of the North Lawrence Community School
Corporation, which serves approximately 5,000 students from the
portion of the county north of White River. Bedford itself has
slightly over 14,000 residents and Lawrence County has a population
of over 43,000 individuals. Lawrence County is located in south
central Indiana, about 70 miles south of Indianapolis at the
crossroads of S.R. 37 and U.S. 50.
